Hello Monday

Hello Monday, you really snuck up on me.

Why does the weekend go so fast?! I’ve made it a point recently to really try to slow down and enjoy the moments as they come, but it seems like the more I try to slow down and enjoy them the faster they go! I got to spend some quality time with my favorite people and get a lot of things done. Productivity for the win!

Saturday was a fun day of Oly Lifting.

I also got to spend time with my other favorite person… Gosh, how is she so grown up already?

I keep telling people she is 4 1/2… but I just realized she will be 5 in 2 months. She is almost 5. I can’t even.

Along with quality time with my favorite people, I also spent a lot of time working on this little bloggy blog this weekend. Here are a few little housekeeping/blog updates to share really quick:

  • I switched my daily RSS feed emails over to mailchimp. If you were signed up to receive new updates in your email inbox you should still get them. If you want to start to receive them you can sign up here. or you can follow me on bloglovin
  • I updated my about me and before & after pics pages! The last I had added to my before & after page was a few months after I started CrossFit… whoops!
  • I started to update my categorized posts with the most popular categories listed on the toolbar at the top of the page (or the drop down menu on the new mobile-friendly page!) If there is another category you’d like to see up there let me know!
  • think I fixed the truncated posts. For some reason it would only show a snippet of the post in a reader/email… which I always hate when I’m reading blogs.

I’ll be doing a little more behind the scenes work here to make your experience more enjoyable. If you have any feedback for me I’d love to hear it! You can leave it in the comments or use the contact me page in the toolbar!

Thanks for sticking with me while I get all these changes ironed out. There is something about a fresh look that is so inspiring. It does make me excited to write more. It’s like when you clean out the fridge and stock it with healthy food you get excited to eat better. Or when you buy new workout clothes and you can’t wait to go the gym. I love that.

So, here is to Monday. A fresh start. You can make choices today that will put you one step closer to achieving your goals. Don’t wait until the New Year. Just keep doing what you can, when you can. You’re worth it.

    1. I need a day that isn’t a weekend, but isn’t a weekday. On the weekends I like to do nothing and on the weekdays I have to work. Can we have a day called Errand Day?
